She was predeceased by: her parents, Crowson Lynn Brown and Julia Faye Stikeleather Brown; her husband James Atwell Keever; her son James Stanley Keever; and her brother David Lynn Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Horn of Taylorsville, Shirley Brookshire of Taylorsville, Mary Jane Shufford of Ashe County and Anthony Mark Keever of Taylorsville. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
