It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Viona Ollis Childress (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Freda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Freda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall at Hiddenite Baptist Church (250 Hiddenite Church Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636).
