James Arthur Cloer Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Arthur Cloer Sr. of Taylorsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Cloer and Florence Pennell Cloer; his wife Annie Cloer; his brothers, Larry and Garry Cloer; and his daughter Amy Cloer.
He is survived by: his children, James Arthur Cloer Jr. "JJ" (Cayla Raborn) of Stony Point and Wanda Cloer (Kevin Huffman) of Stony Point; his sisters, Gail Lackey of Conover and Judy Lambert (Rob) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jordan, Amy, Courtney, Alyssa, Waylon and Rylee; his close friend Joe Julsrud; and also Sammy Kiser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (158 Stony Point School Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
