In loving memory of John Harvey Wilson Sr. (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who departed this world on November 2, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Wilson and Marie Garrou Wilson; and his sisters, Mary Wilson and Eleanor Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Bolick Wilson; his children, Johnny Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Vicki Hollar; his former spouse Scott Hollar; his grandchildren, Zakary Hollar (Mara), Nikolas Hollar (Heidi) and Evan Hollar; and his great grandchildren, Mayvis, Wesson, Destin and Destiny. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church (9379 NC-127, Taylorsville, NC 28601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Old Pisgah Cemetery.
