It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jane Burke of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Burke and Juanita Deal Burke; her brothers, Hansel Burke (Judy), Charles Burke and Rhondal Burke; and her friends, Louise Harrington, Betty Barnes and Evelyn Mullis.
She is survived by: her brother Alvin Burke (Becky) of Taylorsville; her sibling's children, Sarah Tammro (Brian), Ramona Burkhart (Bruce) and Shane Burke; her great-nephew Brett Burkhart; her great-niece Rebecca Burkhart; and her close friends, Loree Millsaps Childers and Selena Harrington.
