She was predeceased by: her parents, Daryl Edward Sargent and Dolores Jean Smith Sargent; and her brother Richard Sargent (Beverly). She is survived by: her husband Greg Nicholson; her daughter Ashley Rough (David) of Taylorsville; her grandson Samuel Gregory; and her siblings, Susan Harmon, Thomas Sargent (Katherine), Michael Sargent, Jeffrey Sargent (Rhonda), Douglas Sargent (Esther) and Phillip Sargent (Louellen). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Liberty United Methodist Church (145 Hiddenite Church Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636).
