She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Valgene and Wyona Lippard Jones; her husband Roy Diggs; her parents-in-law, James and Ella Diggs; her grandmother Gertrude Mayes; her aunt Maida Millsaps Rowe; and her siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn Jones and Jonathon Joe Harris Barber.
She is survived by: her daughter Bathsheba Abbigale "Abby" Jones Owens (LeKeon McDowell); her siblings, Wanda Mayes of Charlotte, NC, Victoria M. Jones of Statesville, NC, Francine M. Barber of Taylorsville, NC, Tommy V. Jones of Myrtle Beach, SC and Randy Evans Jones (Annie) of Staunton, VA.; her grandchildren, Kaliyah William (Darius), Marie Jones of Montgomery, AL, Shanice Williamson of Fayetteville, NC and Tori Williams Humphries (LaTarus) of Montgomery, AL; her great grandchildren, Karsyn, Thomas, Bryson and Aniya; her friend Thomas Morrison; DeShawn and Isabella. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
