She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sloope and Mamie Adams Sloope; her husband Owen Neil Echerd; and her sisters, Wilma Cook (Carlton) and Lillian Cook (Lynn).
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Echerd Doster (Leon); and her niece Joyce Sweet (Johnny). She is also survived by other great nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
