She was predeceased by : her mother Vada Everhart Harris; her husband Donald Albert Jester, Sr.; her sisters, Lillian Merritt and Wanda Pace; her stepfather I. M. Harris; and her nephews, Ricky, Harvey, Jimmy, Tommy and Bobby Merritt.
She is survived by : her children, Jeanne Peace Hackman of High Point, H. Frank Farris of Thomasville and Robert Maxwell Farris of Lexington; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Joanna, Ramsey, Julia, Aaron and Suzie; her nephew Mark Pace; and her nieces, Jeannie Merritt and Laura Pace. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.
