He was predeceased by: his parents, George Irvin and Rosalee Buchanan Harris. He is survived by: his wife Betty Pennington Harris; his daughters, Teresa H. Griffin (Scott) of Wilson and Deborah H. Snow (Rob) of Roxboro; his siblings, Ronald E. Harris (Dianna) of Roxboro and Rosie H. Kirby (Tracy) of Leasburg; his grandchildren, Brock Griffin (Cara), Megan Kubatz (Max), Taylor Snow and Jake Snow; and his great grandchildren, Annsley Kubatz, Lance Kubatz and Griffin Kubatz.
