He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaach Jones Wilson, Jr. and Frances Allen Wilson; his wife Carol Walker Wilson; his daughter Ivy Frances Saunders; and his sister Donna Lynn Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Russell Allen of Timberlake, Gerald Wayne Wilson, Jr. of Asheville, Kim Mason of Marion and Michael Daniel Wilson of Clayton; his grandchildren, Jonathan Mason, Matthew Mason, Donna Lynn Saunders, Deborah Saunders, Shannon Saunders, Owen Wilson, Vivian Wilson, Rory Wilson and Crystal Allen; his siblings-in-law, John Walker (Karen) and Joyce Segee; and his sibling's children, Megan and John Austin. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
