She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thompson and Geneva Thompson; and her aunt Claudia Capps. She is survived by: her children, Andy Ward (Virginia) of Timberlake, Joey Ward (Bobbi) of Durham, Ricky Ward (Terri) of Timberlake and Tim Ward (Tammy) of Hillsborough; and her cousin Johnny Capps of Newport. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
