It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Fletcher of Tobaccoville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Fletcher and Adelene Hutchens Fletcher; and his brothers, Waymoth, John, Jerry, Gary, Donnie, Richard and Melvin.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Fletcher; his daughters, Jamie Engle (Keith) of Iowa and Kim Krueger (Hans) of Wisconsin; his siblings, Ronnie Fletcher of East Bend and Nancy Fletcher of East Bend; and his grandchildren, Isabella Engle, Adelene Krueger and Emily Krueger.
