He is survived by: his children, Letitia Koonce of Deep Run, NC, Kenno Smith of Fayetteville, NC and Tito Smith of Fayetteville, NC; and his siblings, Debbie Williams of Winterville, NC, William Kinsey, Ernie Kinsey of Trenton, NC and Timothy Kinsey of Clinton, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
