Margaret Feimster Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Feimster (Troutman, North Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rochie Daniel Souther and Tishie Mae Speaks Souther; her husband Zeb L. Feimster; her siblings, Dorsey L. Souther, Lester D. Souther, Flora Belle Souther Goodin, Lela Souther Dishman and Patricia Souther Rhinehardt; and her son-in-law Kenneth Higgins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelbie F. Higgins and Carol F. Sipes (Wesley); her grandchildren, Bradley Hayes (Kim), Heather S. Baldwin (Steven), Chris Sipes (Amber) and Justin Sipes (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Sally, Will Hayes, Luke, Hunter Baldwin, Kerrigan, Parker, Lincoln Sipes, Chloe and Harper Sipes; and her close friends, Lois Wease and Polly Austin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church "Forward By Faith", 175 Hebron Road, Statesville, NC 28625, or Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
