She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Pruitt and Beulah Auton Pruitt; her husband Joel W. Kale, Sr.; and her brother James Pruitt. She is survived by: her children, Joel Kale, Jr. (Judy), Julia Shank (Larry), Janine Forshey (Charles) and Jeff Kale (Karen); her grandchildren, Aaron Kale, Jennifer Reid, David Kale (Julie), Allison Shank, Evan Kale, Sarah Forshey and Garrett Kale; and her great grandchildren, Noah Reid and Charlotte Kale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (615 N Main St, Mooresville, NC 28115).
