In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Clay had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Clay may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bain Morgan and Alice Morgan (Love Joy); and his sister Ann Morgan Allen (Melvin) of Asheboro, NC.. He is survived by : his wife Hazel King Morgan; and his children, Kerri Morgan Mosley (Mike), Cherri Morgan Johnson (Joey) and Ryan Morgan (Casey).

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be given to Love Joy Church (1137 Substation Rd. Troy, NC 27371), Canton First United Methodist Church (155 Newfound St. Canton, NC 28716) or Haywood Christian Ministries (150 Branner Ave. Waynesville, NC 28786).
