She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Poteat and Luvella Poteat; her husband Joseph "Joe" Jordan; and her brother Hugh Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Layne (Teresa), Dale (Whitney) and Carol Mahaffey (Darrell); and her sisters, Agnes Poole, Kathleen Huffman, Charlotte Whitaker and Pat Welborn. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
