It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Lee Stroud Sr. of Valdese, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Edwin and Essie Pierce Stroud; his wife Sharon Freeman Stroud; his son Bruce Stroud, Sr.; and his brothers, Fred Stroud and James Stroud.
He is survived by: his children, Clint Stroud (Candice) of Connelly Springs, Edgar Lee Stroud, Jr. of Valdese and Brenda Robbins (Jaymie) of Hildebran; his siblings, Edwin D. Stroud of Vale, NC and Wanda Evans of Hildebran; his grandchildren, JJ, Amber, Aden, CJ, Coby, Bruce, Jr. and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Natalie and Carter.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions the family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
