We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2021, at the age of 93, Ellen Brittain Dienhart of Valdese, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Brittain and Maude McFalls Brittain; and her husbands, Herman Hartman and Robert Dienhart. She is survived by : her daughter Debra Hartman Sturkey of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, James Aiken (Shannon) of Powell, TN, Amanda Madden of Columbia, SC and Samantha Francis (John) of Columbia, SC.; and her great grandchildren, Tatiana Allen, Rorlanda Gilmore, Ciara Torres, Jordon Gilmore, Joshua Aiken and J. C. Franci. She is also survived by four great great-grandchildren.
