She is survived by : her children, Sharon Tarpley (Jim) of Valdese, Glenda Fletcher (Ginger Gaffney) of Velarde, NM, Lisa Caldwell (Dean) of Greensboro and Alan Fletcher of Valdese; her grandchildren, Shane Seagle (Lesley) of San Antonio, TX, Brooke Moorefield (Jason) of Morganton, Christian Fletcher and Cory Fletcher of Valdese; and her great grandchildren, Ady Moorefield, Jacob Seagle and Hannah Seagle.

Following pandemic health and safety guidelines, an outdoor graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2pm at Burke Memorial Park in Morganton, with Pastor Patrick Mourglea officiating.
