Frieda Brower Massey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2025, at the age of 84, Frieda Brower Massey of Vanceboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lehman Thomas "Tom" Massey; her parents, Fred Brower and Cecelia Brower; and her siblings, Fred Brower (Charlene), Marjorie Van Lummel (Arnold) and Eileen Westerbeek (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Dan Scharf (Karen) and Laura Scharf Olson (Steve); her stepdaughter Jennifer Massey Cuthrell (Billy); and her grandchildren, Matthew Olson and Emma Cuthrell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
