He was predeceased by : his parents, John Gammell and Lorraine Gagnon Gammell; and his siblings, Johnny Gammell, Richard Gammell, Robert Gammell and Lorraine Stuart.

He is survived by : his wife Lynn Mallison Gammell; his son Jamie Gammell (Yvonne) of Groton; his grandchildren, Rowan, Vivienne, Rhys and Elliot; and his siblings, Roger Gammell, Kenny Gammell, Victor Gammell, Helen Laberge and Sharon Gilmour.
