He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Kurt; his daughter-in-law Diane; his grandsons, Kurt and Brian; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Thoren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
