She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Boyd Melton and Hattie Mae Meeks Melton; her granddaughter Lori "DeDe" Dean; her great grandchild Jonathan Hildreth; and her siblings, William, Polly, Peg, Vonnette and Leroy.
She is survived by : her children, Kay Hildreth of Gastonia, Beverly Adams (Willie) of Lilesville, Terry Rogers of Winnsboro, SC, Betsy Rogers of Monroe and William Rogers of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Chuck Hildreth (Suzanne Piri) of Charlotte, Cristy Goodwin (Michael) of Lilesville and Clay Rogers (Karen) of Winnsboro, SC; and her siblings, Irene Candill of Ft. Pierce, FL, Nancy Sizemore of Box Springs, GA and Richard Melton (Priscilla) of Ft. Pierce, FL.. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
