It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Dale Trammell (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Howard Trammell and Burnett Vanetta Trammell; his son Ricky Williams; his siblings, Gene Trammell and Betty Graves; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Benton and Audrey Lawhon.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Benton Trammell; his daughter Tammy Williams Burroughs (Dennis King) of Rockingham; his grandchildren, David Burroughs, Kevin Burroughs, Anna Burroughs, Dylan Williams, Garrett Williams and Austin Williams; his great grandchildren, Laila Kelly, Maxton Williams, Lucan Burroughs, Corbin Williams, Sebastian Williams, Jaxon Williams and Jasper Runyan; his sister Clara Granstaff (Jerry) of Lebanon, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Taylor (Bruce) of Lilesville, Sharon Morton (Rodney) of Lilesville, Donnie Benton (Verdia) of Wadesboro, Joanie Jones (Kenny) of Wadesboro, Glenda Lisk (Kenny Brower) of Wadesboro and Janet McCormick (Joey) of Peachland. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (2036 Morven Rd, Wadesboro, NC 28170). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 214 Cemetery St, Morven, NC 28119.
