With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl William Shue Jr. (Wadesboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 23, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Shue and Cornelia Thomas Shue; his wife Cynthia Campbell Shue; and his siblings, C. B. Shue and Betty Shue Hillman.
He is survived by: his brother Larry Shue; his stepdaughter Amanda Lawing (Harold) of Matthews; and his grandchildren, Charles Johnson, Kristen Chambers, Rylan McGowen, Holden Cook, Carter Cook, Connor McGowen and Caden McGowen. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
