He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Goodwin Hodge; his children, Trena Martin (Rob) of Gastonia, Annie Bergseng (Leslie) of Kershaw, SC, Georgette Rummel (Jon) of Deland, FL, Keith Huneycutt of Lilesville and Scotty Huneycutt (Tanjie) of Lilesville; his grandchildren, Teddy Martin (Courtney) of Boiling Springs, SC, Elizabeth Kulkarni (Sujay) of Baltimore, MD, Logan Hazel (Alex) of Deland, FL, Alexandria Connelly (Tim) of Ruby, SC, Madison Thomas (Bailey) of Daytona, FL, Nicholas Ratley, Joey Bergseng (Abby) of Catawba, Grady Bergseng (Madison) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Travis Huneycutt of Lilesville, Trevor Huneycutt of Lilesville, Greg Huneycutt (Callie) of Southern Pines, Justin Huneycutt of Herndon, VA, Jamie Webb of Wadesboro and Jessica Webb of Lilesville; his great grandchildren, Chase Martin, Aurora Martin, Dawson Dickerhoff, Grayson Dickerhoff, Waylon Connelly, Andie Huneycutt, Merrit Huneycutt and Caleb Webb; his siblings, Dayton Hodge (Janet) of White Oak, Betty Martin of Norfolk, VA and Patricia White (Rudy) of St. Paul; and his sister-in-law Rhonda Hodge of Tarheel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (2036 Morven Rd, Wadesboro, NC 28170).
