She was predeceased by : her parents, Elizabeth Gaddy Bennett and Adam Junior Robinson; her husband Walter Edward Smith (Pete); her sisters, Brenda Nivens (Rodney) of Kernersville, NC, Vivian Benson, Linda Bennett (Tracy) of Wadesboro, NC and Rosa Wall Little of Wadesboro, NC; her sister-in-law Joyce Little (Eddie Thomas); her aunts, Louise Ingram, Majorie Evans, Daisy Smith, Annie Medley, Nezzie Simon and Virginia Lilly; and her cousins, Betty Ann Gaddy and Beverly Medley.
She is survived by : her children, Dr. Pamela Oviedo (Jose) of Monroe, NC and Stacey Smith (Georgette) of Texas; her grandchildren, Warren Evans and Maya Evans of Monroe, NC; her great grandchildren, Mila Amorina Mendoza and Aliya Yalani Tolentin; and her brothers, David Bennett (Linda) of Matthews, NC, Aaron Bennett (Brenda) of Odenton, Robert Bennett (Janice) of Lilesville, NC and Walter Bennett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
