He is survived by : his daughter Tierra Kirby; his grandson Elijah Kirby of Columbia; his mother Barbara Jean Melton of Chesterfield; his sister Patricia Selllers (Ron) of Monroe; his aunts, Ernestine Powe and Augustine Soon of Cheraw; and his great-aunts, Ruth Ann Pegues, Eunice Edwards of Chesterfield and Lucille Melton of Morven. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
