He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roland Hampton Jones, Sr. and Julia Mae Tarlton Jones; his grandparents, Charlie Thomas Jones, Florence Eugenia Teal Jones, William Battle Tarlton and Susie Cornelia Newton Tarlton; his sons, Bryan Jones (Alison) of Monroe and Chris Fincher of Monroe; his siblings, Doris Ellis of Hamlet, Polly Becker of Finksburg, MD, Susie Curtiss of Wadesboro, Gay VanBrero (Erik) of Wadesboro and Clayton Jones (Carolyn) of Kinston; his sister-in-law Bobbie Jones of Rockingham; and his siblings, R. H. Jones, Jr., William Jones, Lois Steele and Harold Jones.
