She is survived by: her children, Karen Brinkley (Bubba) of Zebulon, Buddy Wayne Patton (Alicia) of Raleigh and Terry Patton (Diane) of Knightdale; her grandchildren, Koty, Aimee, Dylan, Kylie Mae and Heather; her great grandchildren, Makala and Elena; and her siblings, Earl Griffin of Knightdale, Carl Ray Griffin of Louisburg and Spooky Griffin (Betty Jean) of Knightdale.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
