He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Tomlinson Caudill; and his brother Jess Caudill. He is survived by: his wife Kim Caudill; his sons, Wayne Caudill (Kelia) of Boone, William Caudill, Jr. and Lorie Greene of Laurel Springs; his stepson Taylor Cottrell, Jr. of Louisburg; his granddaughters, Kristina Caudill of Boone and Kelsie Mease (Vaughn) of Hickory; his great grandchild Raynzlie Caudill of Boone; and his siblings, Nancy Brown of Crumpler, Patricia Blevins (Howard) of Volney, VA and Jeff Caudill of Jefferson.
