With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Oldfield Macmillan (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on November 17, 2018 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Bessie Mae Davis; his wife Annie Ruth Holliday MacMillan; and his siblings, Edith Perry, Louise Brooks, John Davis MacMillan, George "Bill" MacMillan and James Robert MacMillan.
He is survived by: his parent John Oldfield MacMillan; his brothers, Herbert "Bub" William MacMillan of Greenville, SC and Jack Fuller MacMillan of Hickory, NC; and his siblings' children, John, Kim Perry, William and Vicki Perry. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Wake Forest American Legion Post #187, 225 East Holding Ave. Wake Forest, NC 27587.
