He is survived by: his parent Minnie Rachel; his children, Jerry McCoy High of Raleigh, NC, Denise Temple (Chris) of Clayton, NC, Chaunté Sanders of Knightdale, NC and Tameka Sanders of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Mildred Dewberry (Harvey) of Knightdale, NC, Lois Faye High (George), Hattie Stella Johnson (Terry), James "Buster" Fowler (Evelyn) of Laurel, MD and Johnny Fowler of Rayford, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; a favorite cousin in which he was very close to growing up, Jimmy McMillian; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and numerous friends.
