With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Eugene Pennell (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2018 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Pennell. He is survived by: his parent Melba Pennell (Hodge); his wife Shirley Davis Pennell of Wake Forest; his children, Jamie Pennell Carroll (Brian) of Swansoboro and Chadwick Eugene Pennell (Ashley) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Amber Williams of Swansboro, Brandon Williams of Swansboro, Davis Carroll of Swansboro, Chloe Carroll of Swansboro, Kendell Pennell of Wake Forest, Christopher Pennell of Wake Forest and Austyn Pennell of Wake Forest; and his siblings, Gerald Pennell (Oleta) of Winnabow and Shirley Harvey of Zebulon. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and 6 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Baptist Church building fund.
