He is survived by: his wife Jean Anthony Massey; his daughters, Marla Watson of Midlothian, VA and Sonya Averette (Mark) of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Anna Watson, Eric Watson, Grayson Averette and Camden Averette. He is also survived by her 3 daughters.
