He was predeceased by: his parent James Hudgens; his daughter Judith Ann Watts; and his siblings, James Hudgens Watts, Jr. and Roberta Watts Cockle. He is survived by: his parent Gladys Armstrong Watts; his wife Judy Watts; his son Charles David Watts, Jr. (Retired); his wife Patricia of Westminster; his daughter Karen Watts Barton; his grandchildren, Chad Michael Coffman (Joy), Codi Gayle Hindman (Brett), Brandon David Patton (Megan), Jennifer Erin Spearman (Brandon), Leah Dawn Hartman, Kristin Sue Watts, Taylor James Baker and William Alexander Barton; his great grandchildren, Rylee Cooley, Keegan Michael Coffman, Elijah David Coffman, Kennedy Ann Coffman and Wesley Paul Hindman; his siblings, Angela Watts Long (Bobby) and Robert Paul Watts (Sandra); and his sister-in-law Mary Hazel Watts.
