He was predeceased by : his parents, Pearl Catlett Marshall and Sanford Marshall; and his siblings, Linda Marshall, Bobby Marshall, Linwood Marshall and Thomas Marshall.

He is survived by : his daughter Vange Partin Hogos of Angier; and his siblings, Evelyn Kinton of Youngsville, Charles Marshall (Brenda) of Zebulon and Owen Marshall (Cathy) of Bunn.
