He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lewis A. Dillman and Dorothy Jones Dillman. He is survived by: his wife Rena; his sister-in-law Debbie; his sister Nancy; his siblings' children, Jake, Jeb and Jenni; and his brother David of New Bern, NC..

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lafayette Society of Methodist University, or any veterans' charity of choice.
