He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phineas Lawton Sr. and Jean Pagnotta Lawton; his brother Charles Phineas Lawton Jr. Those; his wife Betty Anne Nicoletti Lawton; his children, Glenn Lawton (Jacqui) of Weare, NH, Dr. Gary Lawton (Joanne) of San Antonio, TX and Melissa McLeod (Sean) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Caroline, Justin, Claudia, Leah and Russell (Lauren); and his great grandchildren, Lettie and Emerson.
As Gene would have wanted, the celebration is being held privately to protect the health of his family and friends during this pandemic.
