He is survived by: his wife Rita Russ; his children, Michelle Maiolo (Joey) of Wake Forest and Steven Russ (Catherine) of Cary; his grandchildren, Brittney Maiolo, Katlyn Maiolo of Wake Forest and Collin Russ of Cary; and his siblings, Martha Niles (Ray) of Efland, Lloyd Russ (Judy) of Mebane and Lewis Russ of Mebane.
