It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Cecil Speer III (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cecil Speer, Jr. and Theresa Orbon. He is survived by: his son Gerrod Colin Speer (Nikki) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Colin of Wake Forest, NC, Savannah of Wake Forest, NC and Emma Speer of Wake Forest, NC; his siblings, Philip Race, Edith Cowan, Jackie Herber, Jeff Speer and Debra Speer; his former wife Cherié L. Speer of Stottville, NY; and his friend Walker Daniel "Danny" Stone of Wake Forest. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
