He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Kauffman Boyer; and his brother Donald N. Boyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Jayne Boyer (William Kaufmann) of Durham, NC and Nancy DiRuscia; his grandchildren, Rachel Kaufmann (NC) and Mitchell Kaufmann (NC); his brother Richard Boyer (GA); his sister-in-law Marilynne Kauffman Donnelly (New Brighton); and his sibling's children, John Kauffman (FL), Chuck Cepek (South Fork), Eric Cepek (Tionesta), Bill Murphy (Brighton Twp), Chris Murphy (Midland), Donald Boyer (GA), Bradley Boyer (GA), Keith Boyer (CA), John Mason (MA), Brenda Murphy (Emlenton), Chrysanne Donnelly Corsetti (Franklin), Tina Kauffman Goldhahn (FL), Cheryl Boyer Smith (NY) and Lisa Purk (Patterson Twp).
