It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Rose Windley (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Belhaven, North Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Carson Brimmage and Sarah Murray Brimmage; her sister Norma Jean; her grandmother Ortiz; and her brothers, James Brimmage (Jimmy) and Lester Carson Brimmage, Jr. (Bud).
She is survived by: her husband David Windley (Leon); her daughters, Monica Patrice Windley Dennis (Paul Dennis), Myra Windley John (Wendell John) and Karena Davette Windley; her stepdaughter Jozette Wilkinson; her sisters, Mary Patricia Brimmage and Sarah Brimmage; her grandchildren, Cameron, Sydney, Jaylin, Carson, Karter, Kailyn, Khloe and Khyler; her parents-in-law, David Lee Windley and Helen Windley; and her siblings-in-law, Wilfred Windley, Cynthia Ensley and Patricia Satterthwaite. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
