It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Barnes McGhee (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Pearce Frazier and James Robert Frazier; her husband William Ralph McGhee; her son James Douglas McGhee; and her siblings, Thelma Jones, Earl Frazier and Syl Frazier.
She is survived by: her children, Jewel M. Kirk (Ray) of Raleigh, Tommy McGhee (Wanda) of Wake Forest and Randy McGhee (Belinda) of Wake Forest; her sisters, Myrtas F. Baker (Derward) of Raleigh and Pearl F. Keith (Willard) of Wake Forest; her grandchildren, Blair McGhee, Leslie Demers (Jeremy), Travis McGhee, Trevor McGhee, Aaron Kirk (Laura Hunter), Amanda Creasman (Ethan) and Andrew Kirk; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Demers, Liam Demers, Colton McGhee, Ezra Kirk, Lou Lou Kirk and Mavrick Creasman.
Because of COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing are requested.
