She is survived by: her children, Rocky Brooks (Peggy) of Dobson, Vickey Todd (Thomas), Ricky Brooks (Vickie) of Glade Valley and Terry Maines (George) of Glade Valley; her grandchildren, Jamie Brooks (Fran) of Yadkinville, Dawn Sutphin (Bernie) of Pilot Mtn, Jeanna Drake (William) of Durham, Kelly Maines of Ronda, Chris Brooks of Glade Valley and Colby Brooks of Glade Valley; her stepgrandchildren, Amy Chilton-Haynes (Nate) of Asheville, Brad Todd and Tom Todd; her great grandchildren, Elle Sutphin, Charlie Sutphin, Dillon Sutphin, MaKayla Brooks, Layla Ross, George Drake, Samuel Drake, Rose Drake and Courtney Sadler; her siblings, Jack Evans (Maxine) of Glade Valley, Jim Evans (Faye) of Glade Valley, Gene Evans (Janice) of Glade Valley, Ralph Evans (Ramona) of Sevierville, TN, Emma Surgeon of Lincolnton, June Vestal (Will) of Sparta and Margaret Cochran (Calvin) of Dobson; and her brother-in-law Terry Walker of Glade Valley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
