She was predeceased by : her husband John Milton "Bud" Martin; her parents, Robert Fulton Hayes and Dora Kathleen Hayes (Campbell) of Rocky Mount; and her brother Richard F. Hayes of Cherry Hill. She is survived by : her sons, Mike, Chris, Michael A. Martin (Tracy) of Angier, NC and Christopher N. Martin of Apex, NC; and her brothers, Kenneth E. Hayes (Margaret) of Rocky Mount, NC and Donald W. Hayes (Margaret) of Rocky Mount, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to: Stony Hill Baptist Church, 7521 Stony Hill Rd. Wake Forest NC, 27587.
