He was predeceased by: his wife Georgianna H. Watson; his daughters, Carol "Jeanette" Watson and Elizabeth Watson-Singletary; and his brothers, Charlie Watson, James Watson and Robert Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Sammy Lee Watson, Debra Watson and Kelly L. Watson; and his siblings, Tommy Lee Watson, Williams Watson, Mary Harrell (William), Blondia Smith (Larry), Martha Brown (Wade), Gladys Walser (Raymond) and Massie Lassiter (James). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
