He is survived by: his parent Catholikkam Marusalin; his wife Gnanasoundary (Gnanam); his daughters, Marie Leony Pathmanathan of WakeForest, Denisiya Ramnath of Vavuniya and Sri Lanka; his sons-in-law, Priya Pathmanathan and Vijayasundaram Ramnath; his grandchildren, Sorupan, Nirupan, Paveeshnan, Patithivi and Sivatheebika; and his brothers, Nicholas (France) and Amirthanathan (Sri Lanka).
